Le Weekend, in pictures
After shooting my first wedding on Friday – a fun, exhausting, stressful and exciting experience – I was pretty much wrecked for all of Saturday and Sunday.
I can’t post any pics of the wedding yet, but here’s a sneaky peak of what started it all – the gorgeous engagement ring.
Saturday, Eoghan and I went for a quick wander around the Arts Festival offerings in Kilkenny before heading back to Dublin (via Avoca in Rathcoole, where we picked up some Mango chutney and tasty cup cakes) where I promptly collapsed on the couch to read me some Jodi Picoult and eat Ritz crackers smeared with Philadelphia Light. Bliss.
We went to see Moon at The Lighthouse Cinema that evening. I really enjoyed it, the plot is a little thinner on the ground than I expected, but I love that mix of cold, clinical space and messy, complicated life. On a scale of 1 to a 2001: A Space Odyssey, Eoghan gave it an impressive 8.5.
Sunday was spent tidying, washing, reading, processing, all the while hearing the roar of the two Croker games in the background. Some yummy Mexican soup, a helping of Juno, three Sunday papers and a bit of messing on www.madmenyourself.com (anyone else addicted to that show?) and I was fit for bed.
How was your weekend?
Ciara
Well done on the wedding! I bet you did great x
