Paper Rocks

flat,800x800,070,f.u2

Have you ever used the Paper app for iPad? I first became properly aware of it when I saw the witty and hilarious illustrations that Ben’s friend Maria, aka Twisted Doodles was creating using the app. She sells prints and cards (which helped pay for her wedding!). The piece above, called Starlight, was created using the app. Isn’t that awesome? Seeing what somebody can do using exactly the same tools you have makes you marvel at it even more – you don’t want to see the messes I’ve created!

The app has a dedicated Tumblr for showcasing some of the other brilliant artwork that people are creating and it’s well worth a browse. Some of my faves below.

Isn’t it just? I have that app and my creations are VERY far from this indeed! If you like Maria’s stuff, you make like her new project: http://whatsyourexdoingnow.tumblr.com It’s very funny!
