For the Jan/Feb issue of Image Interiors & Living, I got to shoot a delicious food story all about how to create three tasty meals from one chicken. Kinda perfect for January, right?
Ben‘s mum, Lesley Tumulty (a super talented and passionate cook who trained at Ballymaole) created the recipes, which are so simple and affordable, yet really tasty. She also pulled up some gorgeous winter veg from her allotment (there’s something insanely photogenic about dirty carrots!). I am in love with those little terracotta bread pots. And they’re so crazy simple to make.
Our art director Marlene Wessels did the styling, and the whole thing was shot on location in the amazing kitchen of Industry‘s’ Vanessa McInnes. We had all agreed that we wanted the shots to have a slightly moody feel, so combined things like slate, crumpled linen and an old distressed oven tray to create darker, rustic tones.
