A Campaign for Dublin
I really wanted to create something that drew from Dublin’s historical graphic language. I find we’re quick here to dismiss anything that feels even vaguely like the past sometimes, but working in period filmmaking has made me more aware of how modern some of those antiquities can feel.
I loved reading about how Stoneybatter-based graphic designer Annie Atkins (who was part of the team that won an Oscar for their work on Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel) created the graphics for a new Dublin advertising campaign for Fáilte Ireland.
