Anything techie can sometimes feel a bit, well, cold to give as a Christmas gift, but I hope these five stylish finds prove otherwise. Tech accessories have come a seriously long way, often incorporating natural, tactile materials like leather and wood, as well becoming beautifully designed things in their own right. Click through for some suggestions!
1. Ban.Do portable iPhone charger
An additional source of phone juice has become a total necessity, and these are the cutest portable chargers I’ve ever seen. €27, from fab Irish shop Hippenings.
2. Cord tacos from This is Ground
How adorable are these cable tidies? To be honest, I’m in love with everything by This is Ground, especially their Mod tech organisers, but the cord tacos would make cute stocking fillers. (P.S They definitely ship internationally, and my order arrived pretty speedily from what I remember, but I’d still recommend hopping to it if you want these before Christmas!). From $12.

3. Knomo laptop bag
I love that London brand Knomo hasn’t let the fact that their bags are highly functional get in the way of making them beautiful. Carrying my MacBook Pro around has meant that I’ve developed quite the thing for backpacks, and they have a great range, and always show what the bags look like inside, when stocked with your tech. From £99 (order by the 14th for delivery to Ireland).
4. Love & Robots customised coasters
“Designed with love, made with Robots” – this is the adorable tag line of Irish online store Love & Robots. Creating stylish jewellery and nerdy gifts that you can personalise in lots of cool ways, they make thoughtful, fun presents. For our anniversary this year, I got Ben the wooden map cufflinks, which are laser engraved with two map locations (where we first met, and where we live now – I’m a total love fool, I know). They have a pop up on 5 Dame Lane (where Makers & Brothers was last year) too. Coasters, €40,
5. A tech subscription
The gift of great tunes or brilliant reads would make a lovely present. Whether it’s a Spotify or Apple Music subscription, a year of audiobooks from Audible, some Kindle books, or even a year of Headspace (love this app!), these can also come in handy if you’ve totally blanked and need a last minute gift (hey, it happens).

There you have it. I hope I’ve shown that techie gifts can be thoughtful too. Happy gifting!
