Nothing like having that Monday feeling then realising it’s Tuesday to put you in a good mood! My weekend consisted mainly of playing with Ethan, watching the X Factor (am very sad that Miss Frank are gone), eating roast potatoes and going for a lovely long walk around Killiney Hill. But before I post even more autumnal snaps, I thought I would share some more holiday pics.

We spent a couple of days in with some friends in Singapore before heading to Bali, and it was a great contrast. It was so cool seeing the city with people living there – they knew the best spot for dumplings, the best Thai food in the city, the must-have cocktail, the place to go to for souvenirs; it was the first time I’d seen a city this way, and I don’t know how I’ll ever be able to go back to navigating through travel guides. Nothing beats being with someone who has been there a while. Anyway, enough chat, here are some pics:

There was a great open-air fountain in a shopping centre in and around Clarke Quay and this little girl was having great fun cooling off:

Eoghan couldn’t resist going in for a dip:

A view of the city from the Singapore Flyer:

The Arab quarter:

Chinatown:

And, finally, a view from New Asia, on the 71st floor:

A few more are on the way, including lots of nature macros taken in Singapore’s beautiful Botanical Gardens, and a few shot of the colourful souvenirs in the Arab quarter. Have a great week!
